About Me
Kyle Brykman is an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Windsor's Odette School of Business, where he studies the conditions that enable organizations to thrive, employees to flourish, and teams to perform at their best.
His research on psychological safety, voice, resilience, conflict, and mental health at work has been published in the world's leading organizational behavior journals, including the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. Kyle has built an active, externally funded research program since joining Odette in 2018, securing over $100,000 in competitive research grants. He is also an award-winning educator, recognized as Professor of the Year at Odette, and known for his engaging teaching style and his ability to make complex research immediately accessible.
He holds a PhD in Organizational Behavior from Queen’s University, an MSc in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from Wilfrid Laurier University, and an HBA from the Ivey School of Business. He is also a Certified Leadership Coach and member of the Management and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society.
